Artist's Comments

This one is a long-overdue gift for my mom. Hanuman is her favorite Hindu deity.

This is him after a particularly rough day.

I took some liberties with him, but I am really happy with how he turned out.

About 8 1/2" tall, super sculpey firm over a wire/foil armature, painted w/ craft acrylics and mounted on a wooden base.

I just love how the eyes turn out on your sculptures. Are they painted or glass?

Amazing work!! I love the textures this piece has, it's so lifelike! And those eyes are simply stunning. It is a very beautiful gift

Thanks!

They are painted with acrylics, and then given a couple coats of gloss varnish.

Omg so sweet! Great job, I love the tired look to him, a hard day indeed!

Extinction is more than the end of something with a long run in the past. Extinction is murdering everything that would have evolved from that species in the future.

Thank you. Glad you like the nose--it's one of my favorite parts of this sculpture too.
